In a Nutshell: Chupacabra is a very affectionate and smart lady who would benefit from a go-slow approach in a home with a yard to gain more confidence. When she is comfortable, Chupacabra is playful and snuggly and so very eager to give you kisses! Check out this video of our girl Chupie in action:

“I have been really impressed with Chupie!!! I was fully prepared for a high maintenance, low confidence dog. That is definitely not her! She has not had to run to her crate to hide from anything scary yet. She has encountered all sorts of new things with confidence and curiosity, including the wheel barrow (promise we did not try to give her a ride in it 😉 strictly for yard work purposes), bouncing exercise ball, even a few loud thuds from accidentally dropping something. Most of the time she didn’t even react. She really is a gem and serious love bug.”
“Her goofiness is hard to capture in just a picture, and even videos don’t do her justice. She is so silly and sweet! The first few hours here she was nervous and more on edge, but she settled in pretty quick and then this morning it was FULL goof. I’m obsessed.”
“We’re the lucky ducks who get to hang out with Chupacabra this week and I gotta say, we get the hype!!!! This love bug is a smart, goofy, snuggly sweetheart. Once she warmed up to us it has been nonstop face kisses, snuggles, naps, and belly rubs. She’s also a very brave lady contending with things like scary construction noises next door, a suspicious cardboard box from REI, and even a torturous bath (how very dare we?) All jokes aside, this gal has truly won our hearts and we’re honored and delighted that we got to meet her. Somebody snatch her up next! CHUP FANS 4 LYFE”
“Chup is doing great! She remembered us and our house and warmed up quickly to my sister who was here for 2 days. Chup sat by her for neck and ear rubs and was excited to see both of us when she came out of her crate each morning or we came back home after being out. Chup loves to snuggle and she wiggles all over and is so happy to see us in the mornings. She is so sweet and we love having her here.”
