This sweet, chill senior is proving to be a true Basket of Gold. While he’s vision-impaired he quickly learned his room, the apartment hallway, elevator, and outdoor bathroom area in just one day at his foster home; he finds his way by feeling for changes in terrain and softly bumping his head into objects. BG walks well on lead at a slow pace and is very easily redirected to other areas by following the leash direction (he’s also taken to walking back towards his foster mom and bumping her ankles and sniffing her toes just to make sure she’s still there). He’s currently working on house and crate training and making great progress. Basket-of-Gold would be happiest in a mellow home where he can hangout and nap alongside his people.
