Cocker spaniel
Distinguished gentleman

Cash is a sweet and loving pup who warms up fast. He loves to shake and wiggle his little tail when he meets new people. However, he greets his own people with a kiss on the nose. When Cash gets really excited, he lets out a low howl and walk-hops in circles while wagging his tail — it’s unbelievably adorable! He knows basic tricks including sit, stay, shake, and lay down. His foster home is currently working on crate training, especially since Cash doesn’t like being alone. Despite being partially blind, he can find his way around the house and he loves long walks. Cash has come a long way since arriving at OTAT PDX. He came to us with matted fur, ticks, embedded fox tails, and pneumonia. After three rounds of antibiotics this gentleman is ready for his forever home, which ideally will have another dog so that he will have a canine buddy if he goes completely blind. For the right family, this guy will be a keeper.
