Motherly Love.

Mom is one sweet, loving, and snuggly dog. Her favorite activities seem to be learning new things, pleasing her humans, and long-term cuddling sessions while gently snoring. It doesn’t appear as though Mom had spent much, if any, time in a house prior to foster, but she is adjusting marvelously. She learned how to use stairs and sit/stay in a single day, does well on lead, and appears house-trained. Mom does well in her crate, but it’s not her favorite – with more time and patient training we think she’ll learn that it’s a safe space for her. A bit of a grumbler who is excited to finally have toys of her own, she would do well in a home with adults and respectful children. No info on cats just yet, but she does seem to want to give chase to squirrels and birds.
