Slo arrived with pneumonia but is now soaking up the good life and recovering well. She is proving to be sweet, loving, and calm with an endless desire for cuddles. Slo is timid at first but warms up quickly, wanting to show affection and lie near (or on) her person, nap, and get belly rubs. She’s house trained, though still getting the hang of the right signals for letting you know she needs to go out; good with the other dogs she’s met briefly upon arrival, Slo hasn’t been able to play much since being sick but we suspect she’ll love doing so now that she’s on the mend. Slo will make a fantastic addition to any low-key family who will let her curl up to be pampered and match her pace of going… slo.
