Stapes recently joined us from El Paso and is soaking in his new PNW vibrations, as a stape is wont to do. So far he sleeps soundly in his crate at night and is acing house training. While he’s still getting used to walks and understanding a leash, with some patience and guidance from his trusted person we think he’ll get there in no time. Until then, hanging out in the yard and laying on the couch seem to be his preference. Stapes has done well with the dogs he’s met; no info on cats or children yet, although would likely do better with older children as he gets nervous around sudden movements.
