Uakari came to us after living her first two years of life outdoors in Texas. A timid and sweet girl, she will blossom in a mellow home that provides her with love and patience as she continues learning to trust people. So far Uakari is doing great with house and crate training and does well with other dogs and cats, though rambunctious dogs are too much for this sensitive soul. A bit of an escape artist when she gets scared, a home with a secure, fully-fenced yard where she can safely run and play would be best. Uakari loves to run in the grass, enjoys walks, and we hear that back in Texas she lit up when swimming. As you gain her trust you will be rewarded with her heart-melting earnest tail wags, gentle kisses, and shy smiles – it is so worth it.
