In a Nutshell: If the words 'chill bro' were found in the dictionary, there would undoubtedly be a picture of sweet Barnes in the description. This gentle boy enjoys long walks and being near his people, and is teaching us his yoga moves, with downward-facing dog being his favorite position. He walks moderately well on a leash, with some random swerves and pulling when he spies a most excellent bush on which to lift a leg. Barnes has clearly had some training as he know how to sit when asked; we're confident that he'll learn even more tricks like a champ with some additional training. This very good boy will often place a paw gently on our leg or wriggle his snout under our arm in order to encourage pets and scritches. Though he doesn't seem to understand what dog beds are for (ditto: dog toys), he will happily slumber on a human bed or snuggle on the sofa if allowed. Barnes is tail-waggingly interested in friendly cats and tends to ignore those felines who don't appreciate his ruggedly handsome good looks. We're unsure yet how Barnes will handle being up close and personal with other dogs but he seems interested in them when viewed from afar on walks.
