By becoming a monthly member for as little as $5 per month, you sign up to help us save lives each and every month, proving a little can do a lot if we all pitch in.

Our Members receive a special gift at sign up, access to our private Community Facebook group for resources, updates and additional support, a monthly newsletter, early access to special event ticket sales, and invites to private members-only events.

OTAT PDX Members make it possible to save medically urgent dogs -- dogs who wouldn't otherwise make it out of the shelter; like Blue Valentine here, who was brought into Cowlitz County as a stray with traumatic injuries to both his front legs. Blue needed two expensive, complicated surgeries over the course of 4 months, amounting to more than $20,000 worth of medical bills despite his medical team, Brooklyn Yard and Cascade Vet Referral Center, being incredibly generous vet partners.

Because we knew we could rely on our members, we said yes to Blue knowing that's what we were in for. Members are the lifeblood we rely on in order to say yes to dogs like Blue, getting them the medical care they need and loving home they deserve.
