In a Nutshell: Bluebonnet is a success story: as a baby, he was housed with three other entire litters in a single kennel (!!!) at a high-intake, under-resourced shelter. This crowded environment led to injuries being sustained but since he got out of there, on a flight to Portland, and welcomed into a foster home this boy’s been thriving. We know him to be a playful pup who loves people, who settles well in his crate and sleeps well through the night, and is very food motivated so likely a great candidate for easy future training. Like all puppies, Bluebonnet will benefit from an adoptive family that will continue to use positive reinforcement training principles to help him blossom into his best self and, like all OTAT puppies, he will be available for adoption beginning with the Worth the Wait List prior to general adoption applications.
