In a Nutshell: Davy is such a special puppy. He’s happy, wiggly and snuggly, and he has a real zest for life! That’s saying a lot for a little guy who’s survived parvo and giardia, and who is almost completely deaf. His hearing loss doesn’t slow him down in the least, and he is the perfect combo of smart, food-motivated and eager to learn! Davy’s been working with his foster guardians on using hand signals to communicate, and he’s good at taking cues from his canine foster sister on boundaries and generally how to dog. Davy is very in tune to his people – he is trusting and attentive, and he checks in frequently. When he’s not doing zoomies in the yard, wrestling with the resident dog or enjoying a frozen kong, there are few things he loves more than curling up next to (or on top of) his people for a deep snooze – this boy loves being picked up and held. Davy is good on walks and in the car, and he will be so happy to be part of any activities his new home/family includes him in! In exchange, he will offer a constant source of entertainment and absolute joy. As a puppy under one year of age, Davy will be available for adoption beginning with the Worth the Wait List prior to general adoption applications.
