In a Nutshell: Delilah is as amazing as her ears are adorable! Loving, friendly, and sweet, she has done exceptionally well meeting new people and in new environments. She’s housetrained, happy in her crate at night when left alone, able to self entertain, and on the path to becoming a great leash walker (squirrels are such a distraction!). She lived very comfortably with other dogs in her foster home in Texas, and was described as being adept at sharing and adjusting her play style to match her play mate. Delilah is still working on some typical puppy behaviors – such as jumping up – so may be best suited for a home without young kids or seniors. Although Delilah has the genes of a working breed dog, she seems well suited for a medium energy household that is up for an adventure (she would love a backyard!), but also looking for a dog to snuggle up and watch a movie with. Don’t snooze on this one, Portland! Delilah is a delight.
