In a Nutshell: Honolulu loves people and wants to meet everyone when out on walks. She is very loving and gives lots of kisses, but she can also be independent. She does well in her crate overnight and has been left home alone for up to 3 hours and done well. She had one of her legs amputated only recently and is still adjusting to life as a tripod - she’s gaining strength and working up to doing longer walks. She can be wary of unfamiliar dogs (which may be exacerbated by her newfound tripod status and feeling less stable/able to protect herself right now). Her foster says she is a “very low-maintenance, loving dog”. She’d love to be your pal!
