Broke her leg, is now breaking hearts

Hushpuppy is still new to us, having just arrived from a shelter in Texas. When she arrived to the shelter she had a fractured leg which seemed to be infected and was ultimately removed, but that doesn’t slow her down. So far Hush is proving all herding breed AND all puppy and will make an awesome addition to nearly any home wanting a playful, smart, energetic companion. Living with other dogs, a cat, and kid in her foster home, this girl (like any pup her age) will need a dedicated adopter who is willing and able to give her proper outlets for her intelligence, energy, and drive needs.

We will update her bio as we learn more, but our best advice for interest in any of our dogs is to fill out our adoption application and our volunteer adoption counselors will be in touch if it’s a good fit and the pup is available to meet. Hushpuppy has already received a great deal of interest; when all things are considered an equally good match, we default to a first come, first served basis for our adopters in order of their expressed interest — so we will be in touch if Hushpuppy is available to meet you!
