In a Nutshell: Moonstone is a dog who knows what he likes: calm, low-traffic homes with female-presenting guardians! If you check those boxes, get ready for a companion who is equally gentle and goofy, super sweet once he’s warmed up to someone, and very intelligent! Moonstone’s impressed us with his ability to both learn new things and retain what he’s been taught previously: he’s totally housetrained, non-destructive, and walks beautifully on leash. Once you’ve won him over, Moonstone will faithfully greet you with full body wiggles and spend the days sitting by your side - stopping occasionally to bring you a beloved stuffy toy for a game of fetch or tug. He would benefit from adopters comfortable taking things slowly at first but the payoff will be worth it: we’ve witnessed this boy open up to his foster guardians and can’t wait to see him blossom again in his forever home.
