Norah
Age: 1 year
Weight: 35 lbs
Sex: Female
Breed Stated on Paperwork: Shepherd Mix
Dogs: She was reported to have done well with other dogs in shelter previously, but we have seen her prefer to be the one-and-only at home since arriving to us.
Cats: No
Kids: Has lived with an 11 y/o previously and did great; maybe too much for very little ones due to excitability/playfulness
In a Nutshell: If you’re looking for Norah you can likely find her snuggled up on the sofa with her foster guardians, soaking up affection since joining us in Portland. She’s a total love who is getting more and more acclimated to life in the city – we’ve been excited to see her playfulness coming out more and more as she gets comfortable! Because of some sensitivity to noise, Norah is hoping for a home without shared walls/in a quiet part of town. Norah’s been working on her crate training and house manners while in foster and would thrive in an adoptive family that is able to use positive reinforcement training principles to help this sweet, shy Shepherd from Texas continue to find her confidence and blossom in the PNW. Norah’s adoption fee is $100 because she’s been adoptable longer than 30 consecutive days.
