Dogs: In foster with another dog; best suited with a dog who is playful and tolerant of Ryan’s enthusiasm or as the solo dog in a home.

Cats: In foster with cats; not malicious towards them but wants to play with them more than they appreciate. Likely best suited for homes without cats.

Kids: Unknown but potentially too much for very young/small kids.

In a Nutshell: Ryan’s a friendly guy with a killer smile! Ryan’s never met someone (human, canine, or feline) that he doesn’t want to buddy up with but sometimes his advances can come on a little strong - this 11lb ball of love is most compatible with patient, playful people and dogs. Ryan’s got a lot of energy to burn but has made a ton of progress channeling it productively since joining us in Portland: he’s developed leash skills for neighborhood walks to the food carts where he’s happy to be the star of the show. Ryan’s also made progress on potty training while in foster and is comfortable being handled and groomed by his foster guardians. He’s demonstrated to us that he’s a very trainable, adaptable boy and we’re confident he’s gonna blossom into an amazing companion animal for his future fam!
