In a Nutshell: Yerba Mate is a sweet, curious, and affectionate pup who is gaining confidence by the day and quickly warming up to his new life in the PNW. He’s calm and relaxed most of the time and content to nap on whatever soft surface he can find nearby. As still a young dog, he also loves to play but is respectful of boundaries and will happily entertain himself by nibbling on his toys if he can’t get the attention of people or his foster sib. Yerby loves walks and is great on leash, crate trained, and has quickly picked up on house training since arriving in his foster home. He’s smart and eager to learn, especially since he’s so motivated by food and belly rubs!
