In a Nutshell: Meet Zildjian aka King, a 6- to 8-year-old professional cuddle enthusiast who’s still figuring out how to “dog.” He doesn’t respond to any name (including his own), but he’s mastered the art of being your loyal, slightly clingy shadow. Separation isn’t really his thing (okay, it’s his biggest fear), so he’d love a human who’s into 24/7 togetherness—whether that’s snuggling on the couch, going for walks, or staring at you like you’re the center of his universe (because you are). He has a bit of a prey drive, so a cat-free home is best. He gets along with the resident dog outside but is still learning the ropes of polite indoor dog life, and quickly catching on. His feelings on kids are unknown, but he’d likely do well with older, chill ones who respect his need for security.
