Hobby

Age: 1-2 years

Weight: 41 lbs

Sex: Female

Breed Stated on Paperwork: Boxer Mix

Dogs: In foster as the only dog; has lived with other dogs in the past and has done well meeting some new dogs and playing with them

Cats: Not a good fit

Kids: Seems fearful of some young children she’s met; likely best suited for homes with older kids or no kids at all

In a Nutshell: Snuggly, playful Boxer seeks a forever home with someone who understands how to cuddle, toss a ball, and be an advocate for the best girl in the world. Hobby is 99% angel, 1% mix of scared/overwhelmed/big feelings about new people, and 1000% good girl. She loves big - kisses, cuddles, and playing, yet she will likely take a little bit to get there as new people can be overwhelming for her. She is a gem of a girl who loves to play with her people, as well as entertain herself with her toys. She *loves* a stuffed Kong, licky mats, and sniffing in the yard and on wide and low-traffic trails.  Her fosters have been helping her make positive associations with visitors to their home, seeing people out in the neighborhood and when out in the car. When you're in with Hobby, you're in, it just might take a visit or two or three to get there with her. She's looking for a forever home that is patient and will continue to help her build her confidence, learn how to handle big feelings, and help set her up for success (you'll get the OTAT trainer who's been working with her for several sessions to help her settle into her new home and routine). Hobby will do best in a lower-traffic home with no cats, a fenced yard, and kids 13+ (or an adults-only home if, of course, fine, too!)

Hobby’s has a sponsored adoption fee of $100 because she’s been adoptable longer than 30 consecutive days.
